The official follow-up the the classic The Wicker Man, The Wicker Tree is neither a sequel nor a remake. Based off Robin Hardy's (director of the original Wicker Man) novel Cowboys for Christ finally gives fans of the original Wicker Man a proper successor. Christopher Lee was going to have a part, but an injury kept him from being able to be in the movie.
