With no more 'Favorite Things' giveaways, housewives across America might turn to stealing. Oprah's departure might be the final nail in the coffin for the publishing industry, now that her book club is a thing of the past. It's also bad news for snake oil men and hack comedians, who will no longer be able to reap the benefits of her fame. On the flip side, quitting the show should be largely beneficial for Oprah. It'll give her more time to concentrate on her 'personal relationships.'"
