NMA: New study: Stay single, die young.

"The 'single life' can be very liberating. However, according to a new study published in the American Journal of Epidemiology, unmarried people might die sooner than their wedded counterparts.

Researchers think singles' lower incomes and insufficient health options contribute to their higher risk of death.

Married people may be goaded into taking better care of themselves by their spouses.

But surely not every marriage is a match made in heaven."
