Mongolian Morin khuur Solo - Galloping Horses

The Morin Khuur is a traditional stringed instrument from Mongolia, also called the Horse Head Fiddle, which is strung with horse-tail hair. I am privileged to be able to enjoy Morin Khuur music regularly and it is absolutely mesmerizing to hear live.

'Galloping Horses' is one of the most easily recognizable pieces of music played on this instrument. Listen for the winnying of the horses.
