They're pigs. In the game's survival mode you kill them for food, which you need to heal yourself, as zombies and skeletons spawn at night.

I mean... you still need actual hardware right? It's not like you could take a computer good enough to run minecraft and then in Minecraft build a computer good enough to calculate pi. Or could you??

I'd like to know if he actually mined all the redstone or just used an inventory editor to do that. Because this would have taken weeks worth of mining in game just to get the components necessary to even start building this.

I do have the game, and it is quite addictive. That is till you try to build something complicated like this only to find out you missed a block somewhere out of thousands or tens of thousands and it does not work. Or even much simpler and it still does not work

The pig killing machine though does not make any sense. You have to use a hack to even get a monster spawner to make pigs and then he is playing on peaceful difficulty. No reason to even collect the food if you wont by dying!
