But it wouldn't fix his problem. I think it is better to go forward to get his health issue fixed. However, how far for that cure?

It's kind of depressing when you realize how little money is spent on research for curing/bettering people versus the billions/trillions spent on the various versions of "wars" the US funds (drugs, terror, etc).

Like Chris Rock said, there's no money to be made on the cures. It's more complex than that, but it's depressing to see how much we spend on inflicting more pain versus curing some.
