Mel Blanc's Vocal Cords Doing the Looney Tunes Voices

(Yes, those are vocal cords)...

An ear-nose-and-throat specialist wanted to see how Mel Blanc does all those voices from Looney Tunes cartoons. So he took a look, using a fiber optic direct laryngoscope.

WOW! That would be painful. I've had that done before... they spray your nose w/ this numbing spray and send the scope down the nose into the throat. It's not comfortable at all. How he could pull those voices off w/ that thing in his throat is impressive. Cool PM
