McDonalds: giving lonely veterans free coffee refills

Warning! Extremely cheesy! I guess the point of this commercial was to not only show that McDonald's employees are humble and have the hearts of saints, but also that coffee refills are free to lonely war veterans.

[edit] Apparently, he's supposed to be a tribute to ANZAC, which stands for Australian and New Zealand troops. In that case, I'm adding the downunder tag for this one!

What a crock, as an Aussie it really pisses me off when crap like this comes up. ANZAC stands for Australian and New Zealand Army Corp, well done to McDonald's for trying to exploit a part of the Aussie culture. Just a cheap stunt to make their corporation appear to give a toss about anything other than their bottom line.

Where's my free coffee damnit?

Oh, wait, they only give a shit about veterans when there's a chance to look like something other than a faceless corporation that is almost single-handedly responsible for the obesity of America the world.
