If you've never been to an opera, Carmen is a great place to start- it's about love, duty, devotion, sex, betrayal, jealousy, murder and revenge- you know... all the things that make life interesting!

therealblankman saw Vancouver Opera's production of Carmen last night- the experience unfortunately left him cold and un-inspired. He had his faith restored watching this rendition of Carmen's aria "Habanera", by the incomparable Maria Callas!
