Liquid Mountaineering....AKA RUNNING ON WATER!!!!!!!!

The buzz on the internet is that this is an ad for Hi-Tec.

I so wish this was true. Well, from what I've heard, it's possible to do this according to the laws of physics, but you had to be able to run at maybe 60mph.

Anyway, upvote, because it was shot in Portugal

Please note about the "successful" runners (the ones who "believe enough"):

All drop off at the same distance from the shore.
Steps go exactly the same depth in the water.
All take exactly the same path in the water.

Fake as Hell.

Yeah, no upvote, and a *lies from me.

I'm really quite sick of these fake things as viral advertising. They deserve to have less sales rather than more for this.

demon_ixsays...

Yeah, very fake.

They could have tried harder and moved the platform between shots, so it wouldn't be obvious every runner ran on the exact same path.

Sadly, the goofy and fun news clips that close each local news casts may be an endangered species. Or at least, they can no longer be taken at face value. First, take a look at how this was reported:

“Liquid Mountaineering” is a new term created by some European pranksters to describe a new technique they’ve pioneered for walking on water. Actually, they appear to be running on water, and they have the viral video to prove it. The well produced and vaguely believable YouTube clip that has since been revealed to be a “viral ad” for Hi-Tec, but that didn’t stop the news team at WUSA More..in Washington D.C., from reporting it to be true.
