Throbbinsays...I so want to believe this is true.
Mcboinkenssays...[redacted]
EMPIREsays...I so wish this was true. Well, from what I've heard, it's possible to do this according to the laws of physics, but you had to be able to run at maybe 60mph.
Anyway, upvote, because it was shot in Portugal
Raaaghsays...so fake. Puzzling as to why they bothered.
KnivesOutsays...Well, they "bothered" because they want to sell shoes.
Gimpy60194says...WATER REPELLENT DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT!! GOODNIGHT!
rottenseedsays...*comedy...
*gullible
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Comedy) - requested by rottenseed.
Throbbinsays...You're not believing hard enough.>> ^Gimpy60194:
WATER REPELLENT DOES NOT WORK LIKE THAT!! GOODNIGHT!
NinjaInHeatsays...So getting Hi-Tec shoes
Paybacksays...They ruined it with the last slowmo shot. You can see the edges of the plywood.
Boise_Libsays...Please note about the "successful" runners (the ones who "believe enough"):
All drop off at the same distance from the shore.
Steps go exactly the same depth in the water.
All take exactly the same path in the water.
Fake as Hell.
MaxWildersays...Almost started buying it until the guy got eight steps. Seen that trick too many times in movies, where the platform was 1 inch below the water level.

residuesays...Yea, as if no one ever would've noticed that this was possible before...
They aren't even pretending to do anything special with their feet
lesserfoolsays...The technique involves curving your path slightly. You want to keep that skimming sensation going.
kurtdhsays...Someone want to flag as lies?
spoco2says...Yeah, no upvote, and a *lies from me.
I'm really quite sick of these fake things as viral advertising. They deserve to have less sales rather than more for this.
siftbotsays...Adding video to channels (Lies) - requested by spoco2.
QuaZeroGermansays...Plexiglass under water.
demon_ixsays...Yeah, very fake.
They could have tried harder and moved the platform between shots, so it wouldn't be obvious every runner ran on the exact same path.
pho3n1xsays...no, upvote this as quickly as possible.
i look forward to seeing my more gullible friends attempting this.
volumptuoussays...I'm reminded of Rick Ocasek
Bruti79says...So it wasn't the power of god that got Jesus to walk on water, he just had water repellent shoes, and came in on an angle?
bamdrewsays...funny
LightningOfGodssays...Holy crap it's Zod from Superman. Prepare for the end!
poolcleanersays...I believe!
Sagemindsays...Sadly, the goofy and fun news clips that close each local news casts may be an endangered species. Or at least, they can no longer be taken at face value. First, take a look at how this was reported:
“Liquid Mountaineering” is a new term created by some European pranksters to describe a new technique they’ve pioneered for walking on water. Actually, they appear to be running on water, and they have the viral video to prove it. The well produced and vaguely believable YouTube clip that has since been revealed to be a “viral ad” for Hi-Tec, but that didn’t stop the news team at WUSA More..in Washington D.C., from reporting it to be true.
