Sad news. Levon Helm ex of The Hawks and The Band is near death. In the final stages of terminal cancer, his family is with him.

I wish you good speed my friend. Your music has brought me so much joy and happiness over the years. All I can say is thank you.

Maybe you can now join Jesus on that trip to Venus.
