There should be a 'cry' channel..

YouTube Description:

Spoiler Alert! The ads for The Odd Life of Timothy Green bill it as the "feel good movie of the season". As you will see by the reaction of my two sons, they beg to differ....

Would you say E.T. was a feel-good movie? Every kid I know who has ever seen it, including me, has balled their eyes out, but it's still one of the best kid movies ever.

I remember they showed E.T. at my grade school, and all of us had seen it already except one kid. He was slobbering all over himself by the end and expected us to tease him ruthlessly, but we all just told him we'd cried too the first time.

I cried for a solid 2 hours when Optimus Prime died in the Transformers movie. I was literally inconsolable with grief. To be fair, this is Optimus Fucking Prime I am talking about here, not Timmy Green (whoever the fuck that loser is....I'm glad he's dead I SAID IT).

Guess they better avoid Bridge to Terabithia... I don't recall why we were watching it without the kids, perhaps they weren't interested, but anyhow that one makes a turn from what one expects from the trailers to what you end up with... Moving to more mature movies, Sunshine was like that for me, great Science Fiction movie and then all of the sudden the third act... um... not like that for me in that I cried, but movies that make a turn in the last act from what I expected (and not in a Sixth Sense sort of twist, but a sudden plot/mood change).
