Kid freaks out while playing Dead Space 2

Just watch those expressions between 1:08 and 1:26...

next time play amnesia: the dark descent, you fucking pussy.

I thoroughly enjoyed that game... played it with headphones and no lights on (as intended).

The atmosphere was wonderfully effective, and not just in a "suddenly startled" way. Unfortunately it lost some of that atmosphere towards the end in favor of depicting torture, but it was worth playing either way.

I know Continental Portuguese, not Brazilian Portuguese, but here goes:

- Unintelligible.
- Come... Not gonna get any closer, gonna wait.
- No, you go (Unintelligible again, the guy speaks too fast for me to understand).
- Take, take, take the money, damnit... I'm not going below, man.
Hey kid! Hey kid! (Expression like Oh shit!)
The bug is coming! The bug is coming, dude! The bug is coming...
And he charges, son of a whore... And he charges... How do I duck?
- No ducking, he just runs.
- Is the bug coming or not? The bug ran away, man. Is the bug coming or not?
- Unintelligible.
- The bug is coming! Oh no... Killed me, man, tore my head off.
- You have to take revenge.
- Eh, take revenge...
- Awesome.
- Take revenge, man.
- You take it for me.

Is it better than the first one? I couldn't get it into it.. Once I realized it was easier to just haul ass past everything that was supposed to freak you out I just ran full speed by stuff until it got boring and I quit

I downloaded the trial for that but couldn't actually move my character. I tried all the keys. What was I doing wrong? (I'm not much of a PC gamer)

xai, no no, that amnesia thing.. that guy was later raided and forced to turn in his balls.

Id like to know what part of dead space invokes these reactions actually... must have missed that part.

I think it's more accurate to say that that guy just shouted when everyone else is thinking when they play Amnesia. I think of more of us wore our emotions on our sleeves, we'd be waking the neighbors while playing too.

Just guessing... you said you're not much of a PC gamer... did you try the WASD keys? I suppose it's possible some PC games don't map the arrows anymore. WASD is the standard... better access to the number keys (typically mapped to weapons), CTRL/SHIFT/ALT/SPACE keys (typically mapped to ducking/jumping/other actions), and other letters on the keyboard (typically mapped to other functions as well).

Thanks I'll give it a go. I play my console mostly so my gaming brain has atrophied
