How on earth did they manage to clear that much of the city!?!? Must of been a traffic nightmare for the people living there.

Ye flippin' gods! In addition to that question, just how much did he pay just to have THAT much of the city closed off?? And when is he going to do other cities? He should try Japan's Akina mountain in the Gunma Prefecture as well.

You can see from the tire marks that they did a lot of these sections several times. There is no continuous camera so I would guess that this course wasn't done all at once.

The permits to get each small section probably weren't that bad, like any filming permit. Likewise each small section probably didn't screw up traffic very much.

Unless there is some type of write-up on this showing that this was a full course I'm guessing this is how this was put together.

As the youtube description mentions "Filmed over four days..."

So you sound correct there.

Ok, I came here to post a smart arse comment about how there was only one time a ford driving around SF was awesome, but sweet monkey jesus, that was freakin' epic. Full on, throw-up-the-devil-horns awesome.
And if you've ever driven around San Fran and not wanted to do that.... you have no soul.

no, no, no. "Epic" would have been if he'd found a parking spot.

Usually I think of a few comments I want to make while watching the video and then select the best one to post. This time, I will just say them all...

This is the real life Cruis'n USA.

If this guy opens a cab company I want to invest in it.

If this video was any more awesome my monitor would exploded.
