Jonathan Pie explains Boris Johnson to the NYT

In this New York Times Opinion piece, Jonathan Pie revels in explaining how the British Prime Minister is a bare-faced serial liar, and the role he and his party are playing in today's politics. While he has to explain some British colloquialisms, he "fortunately" has an American equivalent that can help people understand.

He had me with his parasite metaphor: "tapeworms in tiaras swimming through the intestines of the state, sucking all the goodness out of it for their own repugnant gratification"
