Joey Chestnut defeats Takeru Kobayashi for the first time at the 2007 Nathan's Hot Dog eating contest at Coney Island (held annually on July 4th), with a new world record of 66 hot dogs in 12 minutes. (barf!) Ah, yes. U.S. gluttony is alive and well...!
