Jet blast like a boss...

The flight deck crewman has something go wrong on the catapult shot of this EA-6B "Prowler" aboard the USS Kittyhawk. Luckily, he isn't blown overboard or into the jet blast deflector shield---and even pops up at the end.

Lucky...
Engineering because: jet wash/blast, aerodynamics, all that good stuff.
