this was a bit dence realy.

all for stuff that reduces bulling not sure how this tv spot would have any tangible benefit. only place where i think you can have real impact with stuff like this would be with realy young kids and just showing examples of married gay couples or a mixture of gay and straght people or black or whatever all doing stuff. maby more flagrent gay charactors on kids tv or evan non camp gay people where they are gay but its not realy highlighted so its more reolistic.

Those were literally the most pathetic bullies in the world. Just one guy saying like 2 things, and a few snickers. Where's the pranks, violence and public embarassment. Back at my school, they used to bully by thrashing kids in the face and setting fire to their hair.

I'll hold most anyone's hand ! I am on the other hand selective who I will lay my pipe into.

The thing is, this is so unrealistic and over the top that no kids in any highschool would do this.

Well, I'm pretty sure they're going for melodrama, not reality, but I still have real doubts you could get any highschool anywhere to show enough backbone to even euphemistically achieve this.

I don't think the idea is that all the kids who hold hands are gay, but that they're standing up for their gay friend. Get it? I thought it was pretty simple.

I thought it was quite good really. Most anti-gay bullying in Ireland in teens amounts to name-calling and ostracisation. Eg "Fuck off you fucking faggot" (quote from my childhood )
