Insane 172 foot high dive

I didn't even know they did competitive high diving of this insane scale.

Keep in mind that the highest platform in the Olympics is 10m (32.8 feet). This is over 5 times the height of that!

But questions remain... Why did he equal the world record rather than jumping just one more foot up, and why did that prick judge give him a 7.5?
