Yes Calvados, they tell the story on the DVD commentary.

The original line was "I want to have your abortion", but the studio refused to allow it, so the line above was inserted instead, which is arguably much better/worse.

^I love how Helena Bonham Carter didn't know what grade school was at the time. She later learned that grade school was equivalent to primary school and was a bit chagrined, but none the worse. I hope she's doing ok...she did recently lose a large part of her extended family to an auto accident.
