Few commercials are clever enough to go out of your way to watch again, but I think this is one of them.

I have seen this exact same ad and without the French music, so I know the add exists in other locales.

Probably not a French advert, definitely not the version shown in France, the lyrics are technically French but don't make any sense. The music sounds like "L'anamour" by Serge Gainsbourg.

advertising 101: they make one ad and play it in every country. that is why these people don't speak, and they instead perform exaggerated facial expressions and overthetop ridiculous gestures. It is also why the subject matter is infidelity, sex, innuendo and gayness, because these things are universal.
I have no idea how this advert would make anyone want to buy a Hyundai.
I fucking hate car adverts, did I mention that?
