This guy is great! I was having a shit day but I'm feeling a lot better for seeing this.

Wow, that is another way to make Dragon's Beard. I hadn't even thought of doing it with just plain old honey. I bet it tastes pretty good flavored only by the honey.

Although, I'd throw in some cocoa powder (and if the honey is soft before the puck shape you could whip in some liquid flavoring; like regular cotton candy, just don't use too much as that honey by itself will be strong).

That is one happy man!

Someone linked to how to make it and it's melted sugar with syrup and vinegar essentially. Same problems with making fudge where there can be problems with crystalisation.
