I live in Tornado Alley. We have a fraidy hole, too. Had to use it a couple of times. You know why they call it a fraidy hole when you see a half-mile wide snake-rapin' black wedge headed straight for your house. Life can be exciting sometimes.

You're in Oaklahoma, SC? North Alabama here. We get 'em, too. We had a twister trim our tree tops two years ago, and yep...we were in our own Fraidy Hole.

I don't know why they show hurricanes clips in with the tornadoes. I would think a fraidy hole would be realllly bad in a flood...
