Hallucinogen - LSD - Live on Mount Fuji, Japan in 2002

Simon Posford, AKA Hallucinogen (AKA one half of Shpongle) is not only one of the fathers of the psychedelic sound of goa trance, but is also one of the greatest live electronic dance acts in the world.

On a (now defunct :( ) website, Simon explained that he uses a multitrack HD recorder and a laptop to basically create a live remix of his tracks on-stage. I wish I had saved the file to quote it directly, but the end result is a very live, very personalised feel that has no equal in any other electronic performance I've ever seen.

I guess it probably helps that his stage presence is phenomenal, and that his music is also the best in the world too. :) I really love this stuff, if you couldn't tell.
