My grandfather passed about ten years ago. He, like many who came of age in the "Dirty Thirties" had spent some time riding the rails, and partly because of that the man always had a song ready to go for any occasion. This was one of many songs that he sang with and for his children and grandchildren. At his funeral my cousin and I sang this song in tribute. It's the only time I've ever witnessed a standing ovation. At a funeral.

Miss you, Papa.
