Gymkata: The hero on the run from a mob of poor people finds a decrepit pommel-horse. Result? Greatest fight scene ever.

Notice the enthusiasm of the angry mob. And the intelligence: "I have a hatchet. I could reasonably throw this and not miss."
"Yeah, well I have a scythe! I could slash at the guy from the outside of this circle with no chance of getting hit!"
"Yeah? Well I (like every other member of this mob) am standing on rocks that could also be picked up and thrown!"
