That takes some serious skill.

Not really. Timefone has an Internet browser now. Can post comments into the past/future.

That comment is from when VideoSift was a BBS running on some code I hacked together for my Magnavox Odyssey™ (I had the beta version). VideoSift was a lot different back then. In order to watch the videos, we had to flip that little Game -> TV RF switch on the antenna jack.

Hmm... I wonder if they were armed. It would help my composure a _little_ to know that I had some bear spray and a high caliber gun.

I always keep bear spray in my front pocket.

I don't think bear spray would stop a grizzly

That was my intuition as well, but bear spray is actually very effective:

Much more effective than a gun, even (because it's hard to miss, and it's instantly debilitating to a bear).

I guess you're trying to be sarcastic, but it is recommended you keep bear spray within arm's reach while in grizzly country.

Interesting. I spent a little over a month living in a tent doing field work in remote alaska and had a few grizzly encounters. I would definitely not felt safe with bear spray, but that report suggests that maybe it would have been useful after all. We didn't even take any spray, just a shotgun and revolver, both with bear rounds.
