Problem is I don't see too much difference in Howard and Rudd. To quote South Park "you're voting for either a douche or a turd sandwich".

e.g. Rudd has done some good things since being elected. Signing the Kyoto agreement for one. Though it will be interesting to see how he handles the "Sorry" thing and what the outcomes of that will entail.

However what I really despise about the Rudd government is their plan to place a mandatory censorship on the Internet at the ISP level. I've been following it for a while and it seems that the plan is a pre-election promise with their buddy party the religious-right group Family First.

Yeah the censorship thing really turned me off Rudd too. The nice thing about it though, is that it will never be enforceable, so I'm not too worried.
