I'll let Bill sum up my feelings about the military and especially people 'in' the military. He's talking about the issue of gays in the military but the sentiment works for any example of attempted moral justification for military action.

Wow, I missed this whole 'debate'. All I'll say is that someone who has the avatar of a cat painted to look like the joker cannot defendably disparage other people's avatars (says the man with a green goblin avatar). Hicks was right, so was rasch, and in my opinion Fade suffers from serious projection issues.

It was somewhat inevitable that this sift prompted this 'discussion', but I'm glad it attracted only one suburbanite with delusions that his web connection provides him with greater insight than one who has been there.

Here's hoping it invited deeper thought in others more capable of it.
