Fast but not loud...

Don't know if you need to see the whole thing---but this is pretty remarkable. We all associate fast with loud---except, here it's not. This is a lap by an electric motorcycle on the Isle of Man course---a famous motorcycle racing street course on an island near England.

It's sort of surreal for what's missing; the roar of an engine, crackle and snarl of exhaust, thrum of a valve train...replaced with a whine and wind noise...

Unclear to me if the brakes are regenerative (extending the range but possibly harder to modulate)
The future...
