FDNY takes fuel and generators - OWS switches to pedal power

FDNY and NYPD raided Zuccotti Park and confiscated Occupy Wall Street's generators and fuel which "posed a fire safety threat."

Cycling advocacy group Times Up! energy-mapped the whole park and determined it would take 11 pedal-powering generators to fuel the movement, at the total cost of around $8,000.
