Enschede Vuurwerkramp (Fireworks Disaster)

A fireworks depot catches on fire and explodes in a series of increasingly heavy explosions. This happened in 2000 in The Netherlands. Didn't find video of it on the Sift, so here it is, the best angle that was filmed.

The fire led to an enormous explosion that left 22 people dead (including four firemen) and 947 injured. The biggest blast was felt up to 30 kilometres from the scene. About 1,500 homes were damaged or destroyed, leaving 1,250 people homeless. The damage was estimated to cost US $302 million in insured losses alone.
