Sagemindsays...We don't know how high up the deer was dropped from. Dropping that kind of wieght on the wire would yank the ends of the wire, posibly ripping several of the internal wires from the post.

It's not a question of where he grips it! It's a simple question of weight ratios! A five ounce bird could not carry a 10 pound fawn. Now supposing two swallows carried it together?
