Eagle Steals Camera from Crocodile Trap

From YouTube: Unusual footage shows a sea eagle stealing a camera from a crocodile meat trap and then taking it on a 70 mile journey in Western Australia.

Rangers at the Kimberly national parks in Western Australia had set up the motion-sensor camera at a gorge in May, to try and capture images of freshwater crocodiles.

Ranger Roneil Skeen says the camera disappeared not long afterwards, and a few weeks ago they received a call to say the cameras had been found almost seventy miles away.

"It was pretty amazing because it's one of the first camera traps to ever get picked up," Mr Skeen said.

The rangers say they will be bolting down their camera in the future.
