EPIC FAIL soccer kick (if you can call it a kick)

I don't speak Spanish, but language is not a barrier in enjoying such a fail.

Yep, it's fairly common to have two kickers, to keep the blockers guessing as to which direction the ball is gonna go.>> ^rychan:

I'm guessing he was supposed to miss the ball completely but accidentally scraped it.

The second guy (Andrezinho) managed to hit the post, not bad at all, but it wouldn't be a valid goal if it had gone in.
On a foul kick, you must only touch it once, be it a kick or a pass to a teammate.

That applies to the first person who touches it, no? I don't see why Andrezinho's actions would be restricted.

After he touched the ball twice, the play was not valid, that's why the defense stopped.

I was just trying to give a little background here, since people who call football "soccer" don't usually know too much about it

That was my thinking too. Not as epic a fail as "soccer" fans might assume, since the point is to look like you are going to kick it, therefore you are trying to miss by as little as you possibly can. Good effort by Andrezinho, not that it would have counted.

It's still a fail.

Now, explain the Offside rule

When the attacking player is more advanced than 2 defending players, in the defending team's half and ahead of the ball when the ball is passed, said player is deemed to be offside if they interfere with play. Interfering with play is defined as any of: touching the ball; blocking the movement or sight of a defending player; playing against the referee's favourite team; playing when the linesman blinks/feels like stretching his arm/gets bored; shagging your team-mate's ex.
