I just watched the shining last night on bluray. Really wonderful to see a quality copy of such a visually sumptuous movie.

I disagree, I think it's a clever title. It piques your curiosity like any decent title should.

I would have to assume that each door of the hotel leads into a TARDIS. So, walls that are only a couple metres thick could easily hold gigantic spacious rooms.
