Crutch Ninja Robs Bank (Successfully)

I love this city. We couldn't catch a man dressed as a ninja who needed a crutch. Here's the raw video released by the police: http://www.liveleak.com/view?i=67c_1200578517
BTW, they caught him on Jan 30th:

Man dressed as a ninja robbed Bank of Albuquerque branch on Jan. 15.

The Federal Bureau of Investigation says it has arrested the so-called "Crutch Bandit," who robbed the Bank of Albuquerque branch near Paseo del Norte and Wyoming NE on Jan. 15, KRQE News 13 and KOB-TV are reporting.

Khoa Luong, 30, was arrested by federal agents Tuesday morning at the home of his brother in Kansas City, Mo., according to News 13.

A Missouri man saw the widely circulated surveillance video showing a man dressed as a ninja, who hobbled on a crutch and fired a pistol inside the bank and informed the FBI, Channel 13 reported.

"The physical disabilities that he has I think made him a little more obvious," FBI Special Agent Stephan Marshal told KRQE.

"At this point he's facing charges of bank robbery," Marshal told News 13. "There will probably be, I'm assuming, a number of state and local charges."

Luong is a suspect in at least two other crimes, including an armed robbery at an Albuquerque nail salon two days before the bank robbery and a high-speed chase near Amarillo, Texas, several hours after the bank holdup, KRQE reported.

Luong, who was arrested after trying to outrun police in Texas at speeds of more than 140 mph, produced false identification and eventually bonded out and moved on to Missouri, according to the News 13 report.
