I've seen this before, but a search for "top gear" doesn't show this up - was the old vid taken down in the recent 'dead video' purge?

I remember an episode of Mythbusters where they tried to do this. Their insurance wouldn't allow the use of an actual plane so they had to go with weaker standalone engines. They barely got the car to move iirc.
