Colbert Breaks Character to Offer Advice to Teen Girls

Stephen Colbert can certainly dish out biting satire, but the comedian can also deliver some real, down-to-earth life advice when out of character.

Colbert shed his Comedy Central persona to take part Tuesday in the "Ask A Grown Man" series from Rookie Magazine, an online publication geared toward teenage girls.

Among the reader questions Colbert tackled were "When guys, especially teenage guys, catcall and make jokes about rape, do they know their behavior is harmful?" and "What do you think is the best way to talk to a dad to convince him to let me sleep at my boyfriend's house?"
