Claude Shannon juggling machines

In his book A Thinking Reed the author, broadcaster, and science and technology advocate Barry Jones mentions that he visited Claude Shannon at his house outside Boston in 1981 and was shown his collection of robotised models, including a maze-solving mechanical mouse and a miraculous juggling machine.

This clip from the 1985 Canadian Broadcasting Company program, "The Nature of Things" shows some of these and the man himself juggling. The bell-labs link above shows the electromechanical mouse.
