This scene is considered by many to be the most powerful in all the Silent Movie era and the crowning achievement of Charlie Chaplin's career.

Charlie Chaplin happens upon the blind flower girl months after helping her to receive an eye operation to restore her vision. She has no idea who he is at first, but upon touching his hand, remembers his kindness.
