text from CNN "Rescuers in boats, helicopters and on foot are helping motorists trapped by water rushing down a street after a water main break in suburban Maryland. Helicopters dropped rescue baskets to some cars. Other motorists were picked up by a small boat"

I didn't believe my roommate when he got home this morning and told me a water main broke in DC (we live nearby) and was so bad that rescue boats had to be called.
