Lovely, revealing interview, but it's not grindhouse (the roots of the style behind Rapture are older than 70s-60s). *nochannel

*videogames

*talks

*long, too, unfortunately..

" one of the most original, artistic, engaging and inspired videogames of recent memory"

Has whoever write this played Manny games? the only mechanics that were "original" to boioshock felt artificial and detracted from the overall game play exsperance, (puzzles to hack things )

Im sorry if you say recent memory well that's normally anything within 20 years so that's a near redundant saying when talking about video games.

Its not a bad game but if you compare it to ,

half life , shadow of the colossus , operation flashlpoint , super Mario it just dose not stand up.

only really well executed part of the game is the first 15 minutes after that its what you would expect from a above average console/PC shooter.

not a BAD game but not a Classic

Honestly this is a shameless cash in on the popularity of Bioshock, the previews I have read so far have made it pretty clear that they are going to focus even more on the action elements then set pieces. It's set 10 years in the future, so forget characterization. You're playing a Big Daddy. So that whole element of facing them down is lost. You are fighting a Big Sister. It just sounds so cliche now.
