In the pilot episode of Friends when Joey and Chandler are trying to convince Ross to get back out there after divorcing his lesbian ex-wife, he responds by saying "Grab a spoon? Do you know how long its been since Ive grabbed a spoon? Do the words 'Billy, dont be a hero' mean anything to you?"

I always wondered wtf he was talking about and finally decided to look it up. This is the result of that search, a song written by Paper Lace in 1974.
