Also per the YouTube comments: The rumor about Scorsese casting DiCaprio from watching the Nickelodeon commercial is complete bullshit. Robert De Niro recommended DiCaprio to Scorsese after the two of them acted in This Boy's Life. Now DiCaprio is basically Scorsese's new main actor for all of those young roles that he used to cast De Niro in.
