White House - U.N shelter attack totally unacceptable

In its strongest criticism yet of Israel's offensive, the US called Israel's shelling of a U.N. school shelter 'Totally Unacceptable and totally indefensible'.

"There is a difference in approach between what Hamas is perpetrating on the Israeli people and what Israel is doing to defend their country," - White House

Israel killed 16 children as they slept, when a U.N. run school sheltering 3000 refugees was shelled 3 times, despite the location being announced to Israel 17 times.

Since Israel began its offensive in Gaza on 8 July, 1,422 Palestinians have been killed.
In comparison only 42 Israeli Soldiers have died and only during their ground invasion of Palestine. Israel still claims this is in 'defense'.

"This is surely an affront to all of us. A source of universal shame. Today the world stands disgraced.We condemn in the strongest possible terms this serious violation of international law by Israel forces" - U.N.

In acts that could only be described as Terrorism, 15 people were also murdered when Israel bombed a crowded market.
