Australia Telescope Compact Array Time-Lapse
from Alex Cherney Plus 3 days ago not yet rated

The Australia Telescope Compact Array (ATCA), celebrating 25th anniversary in September 2013, is a set of six dishes that work together as one much larger radio telescope. I had the privilege to spend four memorable days (and nights) at the telescope near Narrabri, NSW and film this time lapse. Many thanks to CSIRO Astronomy And Space Science. More about ATCA: http://csiro.au/Outcomes/Understanding-the-Universe/Operating-our-radio-telescopes/ATCA.aspx
Enjoy the radio telescope dishes moving in unison under the dark Australian skies!
