At Last the 1948 Show - The Four Yorkshiremen Sketch

Before Monty Python's Flying Circus existed, At Last the 1948 Show was a sketch comedy program on British television during the 1967-68 season. Two of its stars, Graham Chapman and John Cleese, would go on to be members of Monty Python, while Marty Feldman later became known for portraying Eyegore in the Mel Brooks movie Young Frankenstein.

This sketch about a bunch of Yorkshiremen comparing hard luck stories was later incorporated into the Python repertoire, and was performed in a few live appearances, such as the one at the Hollywood Bowl.
