The more I've learned about the Amish, the more impressed I am. They are the only religious group I know of to do this -- encourage their kids to experience life outside of the community before committing to live by the rules of the church.

Saw 'The Devil's Playground' on TV a while back, and had NO idea what they were up to.

Kinda scary that Amish kids typically live more of a wild, drug/sex filled life than I ever have, and to them, I'm considered sheltered for a bit.
