Amazing Japanese "Tron" Live Stage Show.

A very worthy Japanese tribute to the Sci-Fi classic, best watched FULL SCREEN & I hope it ain't a dupe.

Enjoy.

All the non dancing stuff and technical aspects timing of the lights and the general structure and design of when the lights went on and off and the basic layout of people was really really good.

the specific dancing and raw dance moves were very pore though still the top point more than made up for it and if they are people that don't normally dance doing it then they did really well.

@westy
The dancing was awesome, imho, and the lights and timing just made it so much more than that. As for them being people "that don't normally dance", guess again.

Well they certenly rnt very tight they look like a bunch of people that just learnt the general moves but not how to execute them sharply.

If they enjoy it then that's cool but if I was paying to see them id expect better dancing.

Apart from the glowing lights, this actually has seemingly NOTHING to do with tron, the original video doesn't have anything to do with tron anywhere in the wording, and the description is as follows:

"The full version of CM performance was appointed as the mobile phone company by street dance crew WRECKING CREW ORCHESTRA FAMILY representing Japan.
Has been produced in the original costume, control systems, such as the choreography."

Also, as they're working off of a CD or MP3, this is very much not live music.

So, no, not tron. *Nochannel *Scifi *Dance *Skillful *Music

So you're telling me you don't look at this and think "Tron"? Seriously?

The track may have been from Tron, but this idea of dancing with neon body lights doesn't necessarily make it a tribute is what he's saying. Nobody here watched America's Got Talent last season I take it otherwise this wouldn't have been anything they hadn't seen before. Team iLuminate did this stuff and largely was the one who introduced it to the mainstream as far as I can tell. Point being its a style/setting/type of dance so unless every song they do is a tribute, one by itself doesn't make it so. It would be like saying every break dance video was a tribute to You Got Served if the movie had come out before the dance style had become popular.

Nope. Same as I don't consider a video like this that essentially has the exact same type of costume on the dancers tron in any way, shape or form.

And regardless of weather or not one looks at this and goes, "Oh yeah, this reminds me of tron" doesn't make it a tribute to tron. Besides the glowing suits, there's nothing even referencing tron. No frisbee, no light cycle, not Master Control Program, nothing. It's just the costume they're wearing for the dance. That's all.

It's like saying that this is a tribute to Jurassic Park.

Well, it reminds me of Tron. And I think it would be fair to tag it with "tron", as someone doing a tag search for "tron" might be interested to see this, given that it's got lighty-uppy suits and music from the Tron Legacy soundtrack.
